Welcome to the Dromod Parish website
From wherever you are I bid you a warm welcome to our little corner here in South West Kerry.
People have been coming to this place to worship God for hundreds of years. Regardless of origin, faith or non faith we welcome everyone equally and it is our hope that as the person leaves, he or she will have been touched in some way by the love of God which shines in the beauty of this place.

Children’s Burial Grounds or Ceallúnaigh(p) (also known as Cillín or Killeen) in the
Dromod/Waterville area. The Parish wishes to recognise their presence and bless
them and hopefully have them marked in some way like what’s been done at the
Ceallunách(s) in Ballinakilla at the Top of Inny. We would be grateful if you could forward, to the Presbytery, any information you might have about any Ceallúnigh in
the area or any other relevant information so that we can start to record and
acknowledge their locations. Thanking you in advance.
